I was triggered last week…

As you may know, my business runs both online and offline.

I have so many incredible clients who I get the pleasure of meeting and working with in person.

I am so grateful for the work I am able to share with people because I know how it feels to be frustrated with the various challenges that relate to money.

In fact, I started my business by sharing my knowledge with fellow artists and creatives, and immediately I wanted to start sharing my work with entrepreneurs.

Many share similar challenges because they set their own income, and that can require a big paradigm shift for many when it comes to reaching financial goals.

Building my business online has been a huge eye opener on a variety of levels.

But what I really wanted to share is something that has been coming up a lot in the last couple weeks which created some resistance for me.

It caused me to ask not only what the resistance was but from where it was coming.

I am seeing a lot of talk about business coaches and people having disappointing results which has led to a lot of discussions from both sides — the coach and the investor.

And this has led me to think beyond business coaches.

I will be frank. I know a lot of marketing is about selling the results, and sometimes it’s stated that it will in some way or another be easy which, in my opinion, can be very misleading.

I realize the idea is to sell what’s possible.

It might be the artist in me who sometimes looks at marketers/advertisers with a weary eye. But honestly, I wish there could be more transparency.

A lot of these things take work! And it gets uncomfortable sometimes. But often times programs are sold with the message that it will be easy.

I find myself challenged by that, especially when it comes to money and business programs. If it were easy, more people would be happy in their money and have thriving businesses.

It requires facing yourself which can get super uncomfortable. Business is just as much about transformation as anything.

If you don’t know this on some level, it can lead to a lot of disappointment, especially if you don’t have the (FAST) return that is promoted.

I am the first to say that making money does’t have to be hard, and it doesn’t have to be a struggle. But I also didn’t always believe that and I had the life to prove that.

Therefore, I had to do some serious inner work to get to the point that I was able to experience more clarity and ease.

This means really looking at your beliefs around money and success because these are the very things that are going to dictate whether you reach your business or money goals while showing you EXACTLY what’s getting in your way.

I can’t help but find myself frustrated by the messages that state that creating a business online or transcending long held money beliefs is easy or can be solved overnight.

Do I think you can have immediate results? Yes, huge breakthroughs.

Do I think anyone can achieve the results they are looking for in their business or money? Absolutely.

But it requires work — both the inner work and the action to make it happen, and that can get uncomfortable.

What’s important to know is where you actually are in your business and what your current beliefs about money are.

This is imperative to understand what kind of results you can have in a given time. As well as the shifts you have to make in order to improve your results.

We are all in different places in our life.

If you want a certain kind of business or a certain income or wealth, you can certainly make that happen.

But it’s always up to you to be committed to the results you want and be consistent in your action while also vigilant in identifying where your blocks to what you want lie.

Or else you are going to be up against a lot of resistance to make it happen.
